Guiding principle: Networking is developing a relationship, not advertising.

A good discussion will inspire people to visit your profile page where you share all the details regarding your business.

Though our preference is that discussion topics relate to networking principles, marketing ideas or business topics, we are open to a variety of topics with a few guidelines:

1. No self promotion or advertising language in the discussion question.  The discussion should be designed to encourage a discussion without promoting yourself.  Again if someone engages in the conversation, chances are they have visited your profile page. A footer including your business name and one line description of your business is acceptable. Of course if someone asks you a question about your business, you are welcome to provide the information.

2. Don't use the Forum as a place to promote events

3. If one of the categories provided to label your discussion does not seem to match your topic, pick "Not Sure" and we will take a look.  You may have just pioneered a new category.

4. Instead of deleting discussions outside these guidelines, CBNA Leadership may chose to edit your discussion and notify you via email.  You are welcome to edit it from there following these guidelines or just remove it.
