Dave,
Just goes to show, when someone is on you mind, you should act and contract them to make sure things are what they are. You are sure in my prayers, please keep in touch. May God walk you though this, and continue to heal you.

Dave, what does it mean when you say you are a Christian veteran owned business with health care experience? Does it mean that you are a veteran of the US Armed Forces and a Christian? That is what I am presuming that it is. If so, you may encounter seniors from time to time who are exceeding their income with a need for assistance in living due to problems with their ADLs but they can't afford to get the help they need because they didn't plan ahead early enough to be able to afford LTC insurance or decided they can self-finance their health care needs or something else. Are you aware that there is a VA benefit for Aid & Attendance that is available for veterans and their widows? I provide counseling to them about the pension benefits, help them to qualify and apply for the benefits and the followup reporting that is required to maintain the benefits once awarded. If you'd like to hear more about the pension benefits, let's get together soon.

Dave,

Thanks for contacting me.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that what you have would be worth the money for my patients if they were getting primarily for their chiropractic coverage. First of all, 7 visits would not even cover a maintenance plan for most patients, which is 12. But it doesn't come close to covering their active care which, on average, requires around 24 visits over 12 weeks. 7 visits covers about 2 weeks of care. I have not seen many plans with that few of visits covered. Also, given the small number of visits covered, I was assume that what services are actually covered at those visits is consistent with undercovered frequency. Most plans like that do not cover the initial exam costs, x-rays or any rehab or physiotherapy. They usually only cover spinal manipulation and only subluxation-based diagnoses -- which is rather archaic and relatively ineffective when compared to what can be done for most patients. Is that true with this plan, as well?
