Customer Service Worth Mentioning

Earlier tonight, I had a customer service experience that is worth mentioning. On my way home I stopped at the local CVS Pharmacy to pick up some prescriptions and was served at the window by Ashley. Not only was she friendly and filled the order that was available, she noticed that I had another one on automatic renewal that was scheduled for three days later. There are basically two types of insurance agents.One type is a captive or house agent. They primarily sell for one company. Thanks for the comment about the website. I've worked really hard the last couple of years, learning code, page layout and features. I think I finally have something I'm very proud of, and believe it is extremely useful. But its been hard getting the word out. Its been a hard sell around town, for whatever reason.

Jim,

Thanks for your kind words on the LTCi blog. If you look at the price/age curve, it is best to get LTCi even in your 50's. Age 65 is a noticible uptick in the rate of premium increases by age, and waiting just one year in your 70's is several thousands of dollars difference in premium.
