Why is it that my most productive times seem to be just before a vacation? I buzz around like a little bee getting caught up on all my "to do lists" just before vacation. Vacation is a whirlwind of activities, late nights and poor eating habits. Coming back to work I am bushed. Maybe I need to take a vacation to recover from my vacation!

Got an email from a friend looking for a home for a young 50# pot bellied pig that was relinquished to the Humane Society of Johnson County. The shelter needed to find a home for the pig before the weekend. This got me to wondering just what inspired the original owners to take a pot bellied pig into their home in the first place if they were not able to care for it after it became an adult.
