Thanks Mark, for giving us a nudge to think about and share our Networking Goals for 2010.
Here goes:
1. When networking online or with collegues in networking events, I need to remember that making contact and showing sincere interest in other people and their business is the first, and perhaps most important step, in building relationships and helping each other be successful.
2. I need to make a good impression and let my passion show - about my business, about my mission, about my goals.
3. I need to remember to look for opportunities to help other people succeed. This year, I plan to add a Resource Center to my website so I can easily guide others to businesses that I want to showcase.
4. I need to ask others to buy my book (for themselves or for other people that they care about). I need to invite people to read my book, give me feedback and, hopefully, to recommend it to their friends and family.. Word of mouth is a great advertising tool.
5. Be creative! There are lots of ways to reach out to others - Why not write a Blog on the NETWORK. maybe even set a goal to contribute something to every networking opportunity we have - at least once a month.
So how about you? What are your business networking goals for 2010?
