Customer Service Worth Mentioning

Earlier tonight, I had a customer service experience that is worth mentioning. On my way home I stopped at the local CVS Pharmacy to pick up some prescriptions and was served at the window by Ashley. 

Not only was she friendly and filled the order that was available, she noticed that I had another one on automatic renewal that was scheduled for three days later. When I remarked that the insurance company probably wouldn't release the order this early, she gently insisted on trying it anyway. “It will just take a minute” she said. In about a minute's time I was given the script that I wasn't expecting. This saved me time and gas (at $3.65/gallon) by eliminating another trip to the pharmacy a couple of days later.

In a time when automated phone systems and lackluster attitudes are common, her servant's attitude was a breath of fresh air. Hopefully, this can be an inspiration to better serve others whether it be customers or other team members that most of us are in contact with.
