Let Your Light Shine

I just had a quick thought this morning. What does it really mean to let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify you Father which is in heaven?

Have you ever taken a long look at that verse? Have you ever looked at your light production? Have you ever wondered how Christian business people were to answer the call in this area?

I live in a fairly typical Mid-West city and we have our share of all the problems and issue found in this world. We have drugs, alcohol, gangs, poverty, and all the difficulties this behavior spawns. In many corners of my city there is great darkness.

Now add to that mix me. A local Christian businessman who is in business to support the needs of my family and to somehow be a light in the midst of such darkness. I don't have the financial capacity to just throw money at the problems, I have to be very targeted and resourceful in letting my light shine. What do I do?

As you can tell, I don't have any definitive answers. I'm not sure that there are any real definitive answers but I am sure that I am supposed to let my light shine. What I am trying to do I to get us all to think. How can we be visible and vocal in this present world?
