A networking tip from Greg Cross of Cross Creative Marketing - http:///www.crosscreativemarketing.com
- on the importance of not being one dimensional when you meet someone in a networking environment. On average most people know 200 people. So when you are networking keep this tip in mind. Don't think one dimensional. Think multi-dimensional. The person you are talking to may be in insurance. Don't think, I already have an insurance relationship for my business. Instead, think ... I wonder if there is someone in there circle of influence that could use my service. In addition, be thinking ... who in my network could I introduce this person to that may need their service or products. Stop thinking one dimensional. Connections are always way bigger than the one person you meet.
