Uplifted- Follow-up to Southside Event

I just wanted to share my thoughts after the Southside event on Wednesday. I will briefly explain the format for those members that have never attended. Mark opens with a welcome/introduction followed by a devotional and scripture reading. Shortly thereafter he opens the floor to table networking in which you rotate when the whistle is blown for about 1 -1 ½ hour.

At this particular event Mark said something that has stuck with me for the remaining part of this week. He said that we [as Christian business owners] are first servants of God. He also gave this has the order of “titles” that we are to wear:

1. Servant of God
2. Husband or wife
3. Dad or mom
4. Business owner

I already knew and truly believe this but it was great hearing it. I walked away from this event with several connections, great networking tips but also very uplifted.
