This song has played a very important role in my spiritual life. It is the song that I listen to EVERY time God and I have to sit back and have a one on one.

When life's perils stare me in the face, this song runs on a continuous loop through my mind. Even Pastor Ben calls and plays it when we have a "God Squad 911"

I'll have to tell you about the God Squad!

Johnny, whenever I lose my way or I doubt or question, I listen to this song. It's like my Jesus refresher workshop. If I need it once, ok. If I need to hear it more that once, ok. I listen to it until I get my "yes" back.

Sounds to me like you got your "YES!" back!

Last year I formed a group called The God Squad. It was play on The Mod Squad in that Pastor Ben, William and I would make ourselves available for people in spiritual peril. If you had a lapse in faith, if for some reason you needed comfort, if there was a death or an accident that you just needed a shoulder to cry one and a prayer to carry you through for any reason, The God Squad was there for you.

We still do make ourselves available, more by phone than in person.

But today, I had my first God Squad intervention over the internet and I used this song to help see this lost lamb through her storm.

My story:

I was networking on Facebook when a chat came up from a friend I had only just accepted yesterday, and she said, "Hi", I responded "Hello!" and never heard from her again. So I went to her wall and apologized for missing her. She told me that that was ok, just send her some words of inspiration.

Now this is Cissi! And, you know how I am about words of inspiration! That was right up my alley! So I sent her this little diddy with a heart attached:

"It's not how much we do,
but how much LOVE we put in the
doing.

It is not how much we give,
but how much LOVE we put in the
giving."

Mother Teresa

To that she exclaimed "Hallelujah!!! Thank you JESUS!!"

It didn't stop there. The flood gates were opened! Her next message was this:

Sure. I encourage myself, but I've been through. I need support, encouragement. Don't get along with my in-laws and I haven't did 0. It's my husband messing up, etc... Pray he will want to find work, keep and help. We have to live with a family member, because of him not working. Marriage, people dying, daughter acting up in school Seems ... See Morelike the girls are worst than the boys. JESUS!!! My Birth parents are real ill and adopted parents are long gone (dead), 1997/1998. I have no car, but money is pending. Pray I get a good running car. It's rough w/out one, with a husband and 2 kids. I do have a job, but have hired a cab driver and I do take 1 class a mth. Thanks

At that point I knew that God had sent her to me because she had no where else to go and I knew what she and I both needed. It was time for me to do my job

So, to channel her and to feel her pain so tht I could do the job that God put me on this earth to do, I went to YouTube and put this video on as I typed back to her, feeling the anointing:

As you read my posting and as you re-read what you have typed thinking about your life, what God had given you, what he has taken away and what he is yet to give, please listen to this song - one that is closes to my heart and one that I listen to whenever I need to remember just who I am and how above it all, how God loves me in the great scheme of things. He will give me strength to go on.

I went on to say:

HE will see you through.

HE knows what is going on and HE will give you the strength to overcome.

You see he gave you the strength to reach out to me and as I listen to this song, he gives me the strength to feel your pain....

I love you!

God loves you!

And now we must embark on the road of YOU loving YOURSELF!

Just by reaching out, not only are you blessed, but you HAVE Blessed!

The last thing I said to her was "Listen to the song as many times as you have to!"

I haven't heard back from her today.
